Omar Almousalli, MD, FACC, completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at The Chicago Medical School in 2001, he was a Chief Medical Resident at there in 1998. Dr. Almousalli is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. He worked in west Tennessee 2001-2004. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology since 2001. Dr. Almousalli is on staff at Memorial Hospital and St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. His focus is Heart Disease Prevention. He is specialized in the treatment of cardiomyopathy and Congestive Heart Failure.
Dr Almousalli has lived in Shiloh, Illinois since 2005. He is married, has three sons. He enjoys outdoor sports and going to the movies with his family. Dr Almousalli is committed to giving the absolute highest level of professional and personal care available.
Nizar A. Assi, MD, FACC, completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at St. Louis University Medical Center in 1994. He was a Chief Medical Resident and an Instructor at St. Louis University Departments of Medicine from June 1990 through July 1991 and subsequently served as an Instructor at the Departments of Medicine and Surgery from 1991 through 1994. He also served as an Instructor at the Department of Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine 1994-1995. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Assi is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) and Nuclear Cardiology. He maintains a clinical office based practice in addition to performing procedures, which include cardiac catheterization, cardiac and peripheral vascular balloon angioplasty and stenting, as well as intravascular radiation therapy. He also implants permanent pacemakers including cardiac resynchronization devices (Biventricular pacemakers) used for the treatment of Congestive Heart Failure.
Bassam Al-Joundi MD, FACC, completed his Residency and Fellowship in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular diseases at St. Louis University Medical Center in 1993, he served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine In 1990, and he also served as Chief Fellow in Cardiovascular medicine in 1992. He was elected Cardiovascular Fellow of the year in 1992. Dr. Al-Joundi completed his sub specialty fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at St. Louis University Medical Center in 1994. He is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at St. Louis University Medical Center and he is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
